Camera Ready Guidelines

Publication with IEEE requires additional processing, compliance and appropriate copyright transfer to the organisation. As such, camera ready PDFs should follow these steps, before being re-submitted on EasyChair.

Before Creating your PDF

Thoroughly proofread your source document to confirm that it will require no further revisions. If necessary during these PDF compliance steps, contact Antonio Marin-Hernandez at anmarin@uv.mx for the appropriate help.

PDF eXpress Guidelines

This service ensures PDF compliance with IEEE publication requirements, generating submission-ready files. It is mandated by IEEE, in order for submissions to be indexed by IEEExplore.

Creating your PDF eXpress Account

First-time users should access the IEEE PDF eXpress (TM) site and follow these steps:

    1. Select Create Account.
    2. Enter the following:
      1. 64558X for the Conference ID
      2. Your email address
      3. Your chosen password
      4. Continue to enter information as prompted.
    3. An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent, verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress should also follow the above steps, but should instead enter the same password used for previous conferences. Additionally, you should verify that your contact information remains valid and up-to-date.

Generating your IEEE-compliant PDF

Once you have created your account and can access your Dashboard, simply use the Create New Title option to upload your paper and its information. If your file passes compliance with IEEE guidelines, a PDF will be generated, which you can download and use for upload to EasyChair.

Contacting PDF eXpress Support

If you find any problems while using IEEE PDF eXpress, you may access their Publications Support Center. In case you do not find an answer in FAQ, follow the Submit a Question tab.

Your question will be forwarded to IEEE PDF Support and tentatively answered within 3 business days.

Copyright Transfer to IEEE

Once your paper is accepted as a proceeding  of ICIR, the option to sign the Copyright Transfer form to IEEE will appear on your EasyChair account. We remind authors that this is a mandatory procedure, without which a paper cannot be published on IEEExplore after the conference. Notifications will be sent to authors regarding this signing procedure.

Plagiarism and CrossCheck

Please note, all papers will undergo a plagiarism check using IEEE CrossCheck. Any papers flagged by the platform will incur the appropriate consequences by IEEE.
